Mentoring programme: Are YOU part of it yet?
Register now for our improved mentoring programme and receive a special starter pack containing detailed information and tips on how to build a win-win relationship.
The new programme runs from 1 August 2007 to 1 August 2008, and includes special focus on the roles and responsibilities of each mentor and mentee to help them develop their skills and get maximum value from the relationship. Regular monitoring will provide mentoring pairs with extra support and special networking sessions. For newcomers to the programme, it also offers them an outline of what they can expect.
Any individual in the ICT industry is welcome to join the programme and there is no charge. Simply contact us at info@womeninit.co.za.
Women in IT will evaluate each application to match you up with the most suitable person. We will also facilitate an introduction and monitor the status of the relationship every three months.
But wait – there’s more!
Formal mentoring sessions do take place during the mentoring year. Each is comprised of a three-hour mid morning session (separate sessions for mentors and mentees), followed by a joint lunch and networking session.

Let’s admit it – men are good for a few things, and mentoring is definitely one of them! Ask your male associates to join our mentoring programme to “do their bit” for empowering women in IT. We believe they have great value to add, and we’d love them to join us.
